Clarins Pure Scrub on My Combination Skin
As part of my weekly skincare regimen, I tested Clarins Pure Scrub and this is how it performed on my skin...
Having sensitive combination skin, I'm extremely cautious when it comes to choosing exfoliation with scrubs. I reach only for products that make my skin look smooth and glowy, without leaving me with a red face.
Clarins Pure Scrub proved to be as gentle as it promised, even on my prone to flare-ups skin.
How I use the Pure Scrub
After I've cleansed my face, I apply the scrub on damp skin.
- with gentle massaging motions.
- no rubbing, no pressing.

When in contact with water, it foams and lathers up really nicely. The lava beads in this scrub are super fine but also super effective and do their magic at getting into my pores for a deep clean.
How often I use it
I use the Pure scrub once a week, usually on Sundays.
How it leaves my skin feel
To help limit shine and promote more matte skin, the Pure scrub contains organic alpine willow herb extract. And with my combination skin, I'm obviously very happy with that.
I’m definitely going to keep using the Pure Scrub by Clarins. Unfortunately, I don't know how long it will last me, as it comes in tubes of only 50 ml.
